SCUNTHORPE have handed another opportunity to Nathan Ablitt.
The Sussex rider was left out of the Scorpions' team last year having spent the previous two campaigns in North Lincolnshire. He was unable to secure another Championship team place and was racing for third tier Kent until being sidelined by injury. Team manager David Howe said: “I’m very pleased that Nathan is back with the team. I never wanted to lose him. “In his previous spell with us, he had really improved and settled down, and it was only because certain signings were made early last year that he had to miss out, something that I never wanted. “I also tried to get him back in the team during last season. He was riding really well at the time, and it was very close, but then that week he got injured, so it put a stop to it. “I hope that Nathan takes this opportunity with both hands and continues his upward progression and makes himself indispensable.”
