UP-AND-COMING Jamie Etherington will form a new reserve pairing with Vinnie Foord for Championship Workington this year.
The 16-year-old prospect steps up into the second tier for the first time and will also turn out for Buxton at National Development League level. Comets promoter Andrew Bain said: “Jamie is a really exciting talent and we are delighted to welcome him to Workington this season. “I’ve made it clear to him there is no pressure to deliver match-winning performances, but we feel he certainly has the capability to score valuable points from reserve alongside Vinnie (Foord)."
