JASON Doyle will make his Belle Vue debut in Monday's Premiership clash with Leicester.
The Aces have snapped up the 2017 World Champion to take the place of the injured Dan Bewley. Belle Vue CEO Mark Lemon said: “I’ve had a long conversation with Dan, who quite naturally wants to come back, and all I’ve said to him is he will know when his body is ready, and at the moment none of us can put a timeframe on that. “I’d like to welcome Jason to the club and I’m delighted that we’re able to bring in a replacement of his calibre. His average is actually a little lower than it has been in the past but that really isn’t important to me because we know what he can do on the British tracks. “When your team is built top-heavy in the top two as we are, it’s very difficult to continue with guests or rider replacement for any length of time and to have an expectation that the other guys are going to be able to fill Dan’s shoes. “I’m looking forward to working with Jason again, as I have done at international level, and I’m sure we can get him firing on all cylinders.”
