JORDAN Jenkins' deal with Berwick has been extended until the end of the season – but the Bandits are parting company with Lasse Fredriksen (pictured).
The Norwegian has been released to accommodate the return from injury of Reid Battye. Jenkins was initially recruited to cover for Battye but with the Australian now fit to resume, Bandits have decided that Fredriksen will be the man to make way. Berwick team manager Stewart Dickson said: “It is a little tough on Lasse, but Jordan has taken his opportunity with both hands. “Reid’s recovery allowed us to fit them both into the side, so it became a no-brainer really.”
